Alexandre Proia's renowned career includes performing, choreographing, and teaching with many of the finest dance companies of the world. Trained at the Paris Opera Ballet, Alexandre was a soloist with New York City Ballet, where he performed and debuted many principal roles by George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, and Peter
Martins. He has also been featured on Broadway in Tony Award nominated and winning shows, including Chronicle of a Death Foretold. He was invited to join the Martha Graham Company as a guest artist and worked for three years with Martha Clarke. Alexandre has taught and choreographed for numerous companies across the globe including NYC Ballet, Paris Opera, Julliard, Teatro Colon, Capetown City Ballet, New York University, Adelphi University, Joffrey School NY, and Lines School in San Francisco. He served on the faculty at Steps on Broadway and Peridance Capezzio Center for years before being invited to join The Georgia Ballet as Artistic Director for the 2013-2014 season. He formed his new company, Proia Dance Project in 2014.
Kristel Rose Tedesco received her training as a teen at The Ailey School and then went on to earn a BFA in Dance and BS in Dance Science from Elon University in 2014. Upon graduation she performed with Gaspard & Dancers in Durham, NC and was a featured dancer in the independent film Alto (2015), directed by Mikki del Monico. Since relocating to Atlanta, Kristel has performed with T. Lang Dance, Fuerta Dance Company, Bluebird Uncaged and independent choreographers including Otis Sallid, Bella Dorado, Kamali Hill, Terelyn Jones, and Rachael Shaw. In 2016, her choreography was commissioned by Fulton County Arts Council for National Dance Week, and was also performed at Eyedrum Music and Art Gallery as part of the Boiler Room series. Her dance science research has been presented at academic conferences for the American Physical Therapy Association and the International Dance
2014 diamond research scholars grant recipient, kailey mccrudden fostered a love of dance and football in upstate NY. She received a BFA in dance from temple university in may 2015, summa cum laude, performing in works by andrea miller and larry keigwin, and studying under kun yang-lin, jillian harris and merian soto while there. Now a NYC based choreographer and dancer, kailey's work has been performed at venues across the north east. She
Medicine Association. Kristel continues to explore complexities of the human form as an exercise physiologist at Functionize Heath & Physical Therapy and a Pilates instructor for the Core Performance Company. She is interested in integrating the creative process with the scientific method and aims to explore the fusion of artistry and athleticism in her work.
